2005 BIA Outstanding Achievement Awards

Brick Industry Association Outstanding Achievement Award
Call for Nominations

There have been many milestones throughout the history of the brick industry -- process innovation, equipment invention, the introduction of a new product or marketing concept, and the finding of a new application or use for brick. Brick industry people have made major contributions over the years acting as individuals and corporations, educators, design professionals, mason contractors, and others both within and outside the industry.

The BIA Award for Outstanding Achievement is designed to recognize these individuals and organizations for their contributions to the betterment of the industry.

BIA is calling for nominations for the BIA Outstanding Achievement Award 2005

The Award recognizes a clay brick industry company, individual or organization who has contributed to the industry in a significant way. It will be presented during the Annual Banquet in Hollywood, Florida, on March 19th at the Brick Show 2005.

While a nominee need not be a BIA member company nor does an individual need to work for a BIA member company, their contribution should be viewed with our organization's mission in mind. The mission of BIA is to promote clay brick with the goal of increasing the market share and to safeguard the clay brick industry.

Process innovation, equipment invention, the introduction of a new product or marketing concept or the finding of a new application or use for brick are examples of contributions that qualify a company, organization or individual for nomination.

Except in unusual circumstances, only one award will be granted in any year.  No award will be presented in the absence of suitable candidates.  The deadline for receipt of nominations is January 31, 2005.
