Competition Details & Categories
Once again, the Brick In Architecture Awards will be conducted entirely online. For your ease and convenience, this includes all aspects of registration and entry submission. You will also be able to revise and enhance your submission at any point up until the competition's closing date.
Additionally, we have created a structure with more specific entry categories so that judging will be more encompassing of a variety of project styles. A firm may submit multiple entries if desired, either within the same category or among multiple categories. In 2006, winners will be selected from each of the following categories:
- Commercial *
- Educational / Schools **
- Health Care Facilities
- Municipal / Government
- House of Worship
- Other Institutional
- Landscape Architecture
* Includes retail, banking, hotels, office/corporate buildings, town centers, sporting facilities, parking garages, etc.
** Includes residence halls and academic/administrative buildings.
New for 2006, the residential categories have been moved to their own competition - The Brick In HomeBuilding Awards. Any residential work - single family, multi-family, custom built, and others - can be entered into this competition starting in late April 2006. Check www.gobrick.com soon for details.
