Judging
For the 2006 Brick In Architecture Awards, the judging panel will consist of five architects and three landscape architects from around the country. In critiquing the entries, the jury will rely solely on the materials submitted via the online entry to assist them in developing an understanding of the project. This includes the written responses, photographs, and optional supplemental materials.
Submissions will be evaluated based on their creative and/or technical use of brick in meeting structural, aesthetic, and/or architectural design challenges. More specifically, each project will be evaluated according to how well they executed the following criteria:
- Design Resolution / Fulfillment of Project Goals
- Aesthetic Interest & Appeal
- Overall Impression
