Judging
For the 2006 Brick In Home Building Awards, the judging panel will consist of five builders and three landscape architects from around the country. In critiquing the entries, the jury will rely solely on the materials submitted via the online entry to assist them in developing an understanding of the project. This includes the written responses, photographs, and optional supplemental materials.
Submissions will be evaluated based on their creative and/or technical use of brick in meeting structural, aesthetic, and/or architectural design challenges as well as their resulting sales and customer satisfaction levels. More specifically, each project will be evaluated according to how well they executed the following criteria:
- Design Resolution / Fulfillment of Project Goals
- Aesthetic Interest & Curb Appeal
- Sales Success & Customer Satisfaction
- Construction Cost Efficiency
- Overall Impression
Registration is now open and entries are currently being accepted. All registrations and entries will be submitted online and must be completed by July 31, 2006.
