Who is eligible?
For the 2007 Brick In Home Building Awards,
entrants must be production or custom builders, architects, designers, developers, land planners, or landscape architects employed by a building, architectural, design, or individually-owned firm that is licensed in the United States, Canada, or one of the U.S. territories at the time of the project's completion.
In addition, BIA members manufacturers and distributors may enter projects of which they have been a part on behalf of the architect.
Clay brick regional associations and other masonry associations from across the country may also enter projects from their own regional competitions or from their members.
Any work of residential architecture completed since January 1, 2002, in which clay brick is the dominant building material, is eligible. Entries may include production or custom single-family, multi-family, community design, or paving/landscape architecture projects as well as renovation projects where the dominant construction material was clay brick.
Entries are now being accepted at www.gobrick.com/HomeBuildingAwards. The deadline for all materials is July 31, 2007.
